AUGUST 5 DAY COURSES
Bookings are now being taken for
5 day courses, during the month of August, for youngsters
between the ages of 7 and 17 years.
Novice entries are welcome for Level 1 - but you MUST be able to ride a pony
off the Lead Rein.
Come and learn how to care for the same pony each day of
the week. Have a daily riding lesson
and learn more about ponies, about feeding, tacking up, picking out feet –
and of course, mucking out the stable.
Friday afternoon is a show afternoon.
Come and wow your parents with your ability on the pony
and compete with the others in your group whilst parents and friends cheer
you on from the viewing gallery.
These courses are graded from 1 – 6, so please enquire
about your level
Level 1 is for children who are not on a lead rein but are
still very novice.
You do not need to be taking lessons at Earnsdale to join one of these groups.
You may bring your own pony at a cheaper rate, if you
£20 deposit to secure pony.
(non refundable in event of cancellation)
There are some vacancies on Level 1 of the above courses.
This is suitable
for children who are off the Lead Rein and are able to trot around the arena
on their own on a pony.
Your child will have tremendous fun during the week and
will learn a great deal from helping to bring their choice of pony in from
the field each morning after having prepared it’s
stable, give it’s feed and then how to groom the pony. They will learn how to safely tie up the
pony and when needed tie up the hay net.
Book very soon.
Vacancies on other level also, please enquire.
Please note that we have lead rein lessons for children of
4, 5 and 6 years old on Saturdays at 2 pm and also on Sundays at 3.30 pm
1 vacancy on Saturdays at 2 pm. Sundays three vacancies
These last for just half an hour and the cost is £12
