Would
you like to train for NVQ's in Horse Care? BHS Stages or Teaching
Examinations?
If
you missed the enrolment day last September, why not telephone and discuss
your needs? It is still possible, for riders with some experience
to join a course.
In
conjunction with City College, Manchester, we can offer excellent training
at Earnsdale Farm Riding School for British Horse Society NVQ Horse
Care and Management Levels 1-2-3 or British Horse Society Stages 1,2,3
& PTT.
These
courses are for either full time or part time students and are for two
years with an extension where necessary. Candidates must be 16
years or over but there is no upper age limit. So if you are leaving
school this summer or if you are a mature person who has always wanted
to work with horses, but never had the opportunity to train in your
area, now is your chance.
We
offer subsidies towards BHS exam fees or free NVQ Registration fees.
Full time courses (3 full days per week) are free of charge. Part time
courses have a charge for the riding but stable management lectures
and practical learning are free. There is also an enrolment fee
of £30, which covers administration from City College Manchester, text
book for the Course and your own personal file
Part
time hours may be seven hours per week, or for those already in full
time employment who wish to retain their job, hours may be covered on
Sunday afternoons and/or some week-day mornings and may be spread out
over more weeks. This course has proved very popular this year
with people wishing to improve their riding and stable management skills
or to train for a possible career move.
