TALLY

Tally produced a lovely dun filly foal, almost two weeks overdue, on Wednesday morning, 18th May, 2011.

She was very small and feeling the cold and so we put a jumper on her to help keep her warm.

........ ....

By the evening the jumper became wet around her tail and so Vikki arrived with
a dog rug and a whippet size rug was put on. Immediately baby felt warmer and seemed much more comfortable and relaxed - and very relieved to feel warm and snug.

...

The filly was, on the third day given the name "Alexia" (Lexi) by Jenny. By this time she was already growing and filling out. When turned out with mum
into the indoor school, she loves to run around as fast as she can.

...................

By day 5 she had outgrown the first whippet dog rug and into the next size of rug. Still too small for a foal rug and a dog rug is ideal

10th day and getting bigger. Goes outside to play for the first time as the weather has been so old and wet.

Lexi as foal is now called - 15 days old and playing in the field
